报告摘要:

Mixed conducting materials such as mixed oxygen ion and electron conducting oxides, mixed CO32- and O2- and mixed proton and electron conducting oxides have potential application in high efficient conversion of chemical energy to electricity (such as electrodes of solid oxide fuel cells, SOFCs) and for hydrogen/ oxygen/CO2 seperation with high selectivity, and electrodes of lithium batteris for electrochemical energy storage.
During the past decade, we are devoted to the development of mixed conducting materials for above-mentioned application fields, a typical material is Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3 (BSCF), which was turned out to be excellent material as cathode of intermediate temperature (IT)-SOFCs  as well as ceramic membrane for oxygen seperation from air. However, several disadvantages have limited the practical applications of the available mixed materials reported in literature. The disadvantages include poor chemical stability under real operation conditions, CO2 poisioning effect, and large thermal expansion coefficient. Here, we reported our recent development of new mixed conducting materials and new application conceptions of such materials in energy conversion, storage and gas separation. Some recent advances include dense LaNi2O4 thin film modified BSCF as electrode of SOFC with significantly improved CO2 resistance and porous SDC film modified BSCF membrane with improved CO2 resistance, new concept SOFC-type external short circuit ceramic membrane for oxygen separation and conversion of hydrocarbons, and new mixed CO32- and O2- conduting membrane for CO2 separation and new concept of carbon batteries with the combination of direct carbon SOFC and CO2 separation membrane which shows more than ten times higher energy density than state-of-the-art lithium-ion batteries with also improved operation safety.

邵宗平教授简介:

邵宗平, 男, 1973年生,教育部长江学者特聘教授,博士生导师,国家杰出青年科学基金(2010),教育部新世纪优秀人才计划(2008),霍英东青年基金(2007),江苏省六大人才高峰项目(A类)(2008)及江苏省333高层次人才计划(2011)获得者。1995年-2000年就读于我所催化国家重点实验室,2000年5月博士毕业于大连化学物理研究所。2000年8月-2002年2月以访问学者身份在法国科学研究中心里昂催化研究所(CNRS-IRC)从事合作研究,2002年3月-2005年6月在美国加州理工学院从事博士后研究,2005年7月起加入南京工业大学, 现为能源学院院长,二级教授。至今在Nature,Scientific Report, Angew.Chem.Int.Ed., Prog. Mater. Sci., Energy&Environ. Sci., ChemSusChem, Chem.Commun., J. Mater. Chem. J.Phys. Chem.,等杂志上发表SCI收录文章230余篇,其中以第一作者身份在Nature杂志上发表论文两篇(2004,2005).论文被引用5100余次,单篇最高引用超1000次。部分成果获教育部自然科学二等奖(排名第一)。是目前70多国际国内SCI收录杂志的审稿人。目前主要研究方向包括混合导体材料,固体氧化物燃料电池,锂离子电池和超级电容器等。
