袁开军，男，湖北荆州人，研究员，博士生导师，国家杰出青年基金获得者。2003年本科毕业于中国科学技术大学化学物理系，2009年博士毕业于中国科学院大连化学物理研究所。毕业后留所工作至今，2010至2011年在美国莱斯大学化学系做访问学者，2017年晋升为研究员。2010年获中科院优秀博士学位论文奖，2011年获全国百篇优秀博士论文提名奖，2013年获中科院卢嘉锡青年人才奖，2014年入选中科院青促会。2019年获国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金资助，2022年获国家自然科学基金杰出青年基金资助。辽宁省“百千万人才工程”千人层次。研究方向：（1）基于大科学装置-大连相干光源的星际分子光化学研究；（2）极端条件下先进材料的超快光谱动力学研究；（3）二维红外光谱研究。发表SCI收录文章110多篇，包括Nat. Commun. 6 篇，Sci. Adv. 1篇，Nat. Sci. Rev. 1篇, PNAS 1篇，PRL 1篇， Chem. Sci. 3篇，JPCL 14篇等。
